Version 8.0 of the SQL Documentation Tool
is now available. This version of the database documentor for SQL Server has improved RTF/Word document output and enhanced

5 March 2008: Product Update
Version 9.1 of the .NET
Documentation Tool is now available. This version is now able to document source code developed
using version 3.0 and 3.5 of the .NET Framework, and there is also support for Silverlight/WPF source code. Note that this technology is still in the early stages of development by Microsoft and may be subject to change.
1 March 2008: Product Updater
A new product updates page has been added to the site giving information
about how to update your product. New versions of products (starting with the .NET Documentation Tool) will all contain version checking functionality to enable them to check that they are the most recent editions of the software.

is now available. This version of the database documentor for SQL Server has a refined GUI,
an additional error logging option and the installer has been

03 January 2008: Product Update
Version 3.1 of The Website Utility
is now available - this version has the option to create an ASP.NET Search Facility for a
website. The search facility is created in C#, but can be used from Visual Basic.NET. The
ASP.NET search facility is fully .NET Framework compliant, being class based (with
properties and methods) and returns search results as a standard .NET DataSet which can be
used to populate .NET controls including DataViews and DataGrids. A fully annotated
example search form and search results page is included. The product documentation has also been updated.

The Index Server Companion
has been renamed as the Indexing Service Companion
. The product is fully compatible with both Index Server (Windows NT4 Server) and Indexing Service (on Windows
server products from Windows 2000 onwards).

Version 7.8 of the SQL Documentation Tool
is now available. This version is a substantial update over the previously publically available version 6.9.1.
New features include: progress bar on GUI, a more robust GUI, database object dependencies may optionally be documented,
specific database objects
(e.g. tables, stored procedures, triggers etc.) may be excluded from the documentation, there is significantly
enhanced support for SQL
Server 2005 and stored procedures are now listed in RTF format report. View the

documentation tools, but creates technical documentation for Visual Basic projects.

28 February 2007: Product Update
Version 8.3 of the .NET
Documentation Tool is now available. This is a huge update of the previously
publically available 7.6. New features include XML Comment support for VB.NET

The PHP Documentation Tool is based on the
popular ASP Documentation Tool but creates technical documentation for PHP web projects
instead.
1 December 2006: Newsletter Withdrawl
In order to focus on product development, the newsletter service has been withdrawn. New
product releases are publicised on this page, as well as our Blog, and on: Aspin, Aspwire, 411asp.net
and Database Journal.
30 November 2006: Product Relaunch
The ASP.NET Documentation Tool has now been renamed to the .NET Documentation Tool. The .NET
Documentation Tool now documents Windows.NET and Console projects, but it retains the
ability to document ASP.NET web applications. Note that the .NET Documentation Tool and
ASP.NET Documentation Tool products have the identical code base. Registered users of the
ASP.NET Documentation Tool who have unexpired registration codes are eligible to download
the .NET Documentation Tool. A new version is also available - there are a large number of
enhancements, including the ability to document Enumerators and Constructors.

A major new update of the ASP.NET
Documentation Tool is available - this version documents Windows.NET and Console
projects as well as ASP.NET web applications, and it has hugely improved source code
parsing. The evaluation version has also been updated.
16 August 2006: Product Update
Version 5.2 of the SQL Documentation Tool
is now available. This version now lists databases by server name - this makes it easier
to document the same named database in more than one server and allows server specific
database content (i.e. Jobs and DTS Packages) to be documented in future releases.

The product pricing structure has been reviewed - The
Website Utility now costs $12.95 and the SQL
Documentation Tool now costs $24.95. Note that the prices of the special offer product bundles remains the same. Buy
the Premium editions of both the ASP and ASP.NET Documentation Tools, and the SQL

XML file for the website it analyses. This file may be uploaded to the Google Sitemaps

The SQL Documentation Tool creates
technical documentation for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and 2003 databases. Technical
documentation is created in HTML and HTML Help formats. The HTML Help format documentation
is fully searchable and cross referenced. The SQL Documentation Tool documents SQL Server
