| The ASP Documentation Tool can be used on a machine running
Microsoft Windows 95 or any subsequent version of Windows (including Windows XP, 2000,
2003 and Vista). The documentation enigne of the ASP Documentation Tool is written
in Perl 5, but Perl is not required as the source code has been compiled
into an executable file [the Premium Edition contains the source code].
The full version of the ASP Documentation Tool is able to save project
documentation in Microsoft's HTML Help format. To be able to do this then Microsoft's HTML
Help Workshop must be installed. This is a free download from Microsoft.com:
If you want to to document MySQL databases, the ASP Documentation Tool requires an ODBC
connection - MySQL
Connector/ODBC 5.1 (or a more recent version) is recommended. Note that documentation
created for MySQL databases running on MySQL versions prior to 5.1 will not be as
comprehensive as those running on 5.1 and greater.
